Hi! This is Genesis! I remember the day we did our play! We did a play about agricultural engineers. It was a lot of fun. We learned a lot about agricultural engineers. We learned that they work with nature! I was a Weevil. I was eating apples from an apple orchard! We used integrated pest management or IPM to solve our problems. IPM means using nature not chemicals to control pests. They put glue in the tree so when I climb I get stuck! There was a Fruit Tree Leaf Roller and they put lady beetle larvae so it can eat them and they can stop eating the apples from the apple orchard! Then, apple moth larvaes came and they kept mating, so they put the smell of adult apple moth larvae to get them confused so they don't know where their mate is so they don't have baby apple moths! That was our play!
We all acted out about how we shouldn't use chemicals that can hurt other animals.We used different engineering people to help the farmers. They were trying not to use chemicals so they keep on calling engineers to help their apples. It all happened in the spring,summer,and the fall. That is it. Thanks for looking at this comment.
